My Story
Hi there! I’ve loved thrifting ever since my high school days back in the 80s. What started as a fun way to find unique clothes and stretch a small budget, turned into a lifelong passion.
Over the years, I’ve come back to thrifting again and again, sometimes out of necessity, and sometimes just to escape the stress of a very busy career. There’s something so relaxing about hunting for treasures and imagining their next chapter.
I’ve always believed that giving preloved items a new life is good for the soul and for the planet. It’s a lesson I passed on to my children. Repurposing isn’t just practical, it’s creative and meaningful. Our family cottage is completely furnished with second-hand and vintage finds, each piece with its own little story. I’ve even helped friends and family track down special pieces for their cottages too.

After 35 years in a demanding career of service, I decided it was time to retire. It was a big change, but I knew I needed to find a new path that brought me joy. Naturally, I found myself drawn back to thrifting, something that’s always made me happy.
These days, I spend my time thrifting, creating unique, and sometimes delightfully quirky, gift baskets, and enjoying the freedom of retirement.
Each basket I make is one-of-a-kind, filled with character and charm, just like the treasures that inspired them.
